Estelle Garcia Blanco (b. 1995) lives and works between Brussels (BE) and León (ES). She is a textile artist working with feathers and reclaimed materials. She holds an MFA in Textile Design from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Brussels (2022) and trained as a featherworker at Maison Lemarié, part of Chanel’s Métiers d’Art in Paris.
I'm an artist inspired by the figure of the bird and collector of bird-related objects. BIRDING WITHOUT BIRDS is 12-issue magazine that will be published throughout 2026. The magazine offers rich imagery for birdwatching through the extensive production of bird-related iconography. Each A4 issue is enclosed in a plastic sleeve that can contain various documents.
