Natural history of silence

"The artist questions our relationship to the wild and the living, and the human urge to possess and freeze nature. Yet her works appear pure, almost celestial. There is a calmness in the monochrome tones and the natural materials. Her painting-sculptures form patterns and compositions that seem to dance. The feathers bounce as we approach, swaying gently in the air. The textures of her pieces echo the feel of nature—lines of the earth, the drift of clouds. Sky and soil meet again. Perhaps it is this purity that the artist invites us to witness: within the visual beauty and the silence lies a story, a movement to listen to closely."
